The Church of the Immaculate Conception was established in Columbia Heights, Mn in 1923. In the fall of 1939 Immaculate Conception School opened with its first 224 students. Located in the foyer to the auditorium, this mural was commissioned to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the school. It depicts the school's history along with the Sacraments undertaken by Catholic youth.
